We are happy to share the latest research published by Dr. Paul Rogers! For the Journal of Education for Teaching, he co-authored "A justice oriented examination of teacher education through the lens of deans’ innovations and leadership in schools of education"
From the abstract: "Social-justice teacher education literature is widespread, but research highlighting the perspectives and insights from those who lead is far less common. This interview-based case-study of 20 deans from the Schools of Education across the United States addresses this gap and explores insights that pertain to the leadership and implementation of teacher education programs that advance social justice and teacher agency. Using conceptualisations of thin and strong equity, we identify, explain, and discuss three themes which emerged from the data"

And in Perspectiva Educacional, he published "Reconceptualizing response to writing from a longitudinal Perspective: Writing development and dialogic Interaction" in both English and Spanish, which studies modes of teacher feedback and finds "that teachers and those responsible for writing pedagogy are encouraged to consider ways in which they can facilitate multiple, ongoing streams of high-quality feedback for their students, and to prioritize these conversations in their instructional practice and writing pedagogies."
